Asuu Strike Update: OOU Join List Of Schools To Pull Out Of Strike , To Resume As Directed By FG


The Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State has also toed the path of some universities who have shunned the ongoing strike by Academic Staff Union of Universities. In a statement published in the school’s bulletin according to EDIFICATION an online education media , the school has been billed to resume as directed by the federal government on the the 9th December 2013.

Following the directives from the federal government that all striking lecturers of public universities in the country resume to the classrooms on or before 9/12/13, This inclusive all state universities in the country. Hence the management of Olabisi Onabanjo University has decided to commence all normal school activities, to this effect all registrations for the new and previous semester continues, we hereby implore our students to resume,complete their registrations for 2012/201313 session.
Adjustments and detailed directives will come from the school management in respect of the suspended 12/13 harmattan semester examinations soonest, that will be communicated to all students in their respective faculties.
In respect of the striking lecturers we have had a series of meetings and encouraging outcomes, We plead with Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU OOU Chapter to resume as our students are resuming and as the Rain semester starts soon.
